Meurthe-et-Moselle modernises their mobile classrooms with Naotic's retrofit programme

As part of the upgrade of its digital infrastructure, the Meurthe-et-Moselle Departmental Council (CD54) has opted for an innovative solution: the customised retrofit programme offered by Naotic.    

 
Thanks to this approach, the Naocart M1 charging carts used in schools have been modernised to meet new educational needs, while optimising existing resources.

The key benefits of this retrofit programme! 

The programme set up by Naotic, in close collaboration with a local reseller and the local authority, made it possible to :

 

  • Modernise the equipment while avoiding a complete replacement, offering a cost-effective and budget-friendly solution.

  • Adapt to new digital uses, with equipment capable of handling both tablets and laptops. 

​

  • Standardise charging thanks to USB-C Tabipower technology, which guarantees smart, optimised charge.


This strategy extends the life of equipment while anticipating future technological developments.

Flexible, scalable solutions to meet the diverse needs of schools in Meurthe-et-Moselle.

To meet the diverse needs of the local authority's schools, Naotic has set up several configurations of its Naocart M1 recharging cart:

  • Replacing tablets with a new model → Adapting the docking foams, retaining the existing charging module.

  • Switching from tablets to laptops → Changing the foams and integrating Tabipower USB-C technology for optimised charge adapted to the new devices.

​​​

  • Hybrid solution → Retaining the existing charging module on the upper part for the new tablets, replacing the foams and integrating Tabipower on the lower part for the laptops.

This project is a perfect example of how it is possible to combine innovation, economy and environmental responsibility in the management of public facilities.
